Heart disease is currently killing 17.9 million people each year. Road traffic crashes injure up to 50 million people globally and kill over 1 million more. With all the advances in science and technology, how can we tip the odds in our favour?

You’ll work together to examine the research, talk to experts and form your own ideas to create a sustainable solution. Developed to appeal to both clinical and research interests, our Medical Sciences course delivers a comprehensive project-based, practical approach focusing on different approaches to diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.

You’ll build core professional skills and be able to follow your group’s interests with adaptable learning focused on your aspirations. For greater insight and an in-depth look at your medical dilemma, we’ll work on location in places like The Old Operating Theatre and Bart’s Pathology museum, drawing on advice from experts in the field about the fight between us and our bodies.
