History Cambridge summer school at Oxford Summer Courses for ages 13-15 years. Study History with Oxford Summer Courses. From events and legends through the ages to questions surrounding philosophy and methodology, we’ll cover everything in our influential History course. You’ll learn about different social and cultural contexts, causes and impacts of world conflicts, and explore the reasons for political arguments, forming your own opinions based on your new knowledge. What is history? If you think that’s a simple question, it’s time to think again. Challenge how history works and uncover why it still powers our political discourse today. Set and reflect on ambitious goals with our support, engage in tutorial Q&A sessions, participate in an academic skills masterclass for critical thinking development, explore future career pathways through expert speakers, and visit different Cambridge colleges for a comprehensive Cambridge summer school experience.

Teaching methodology

Your expert tutor will foster critical thinking through interactive seminars in small groups (no bigger than 15). During your course, you will work with like- minded peers on a case- study which you present at the end of the course to your group. On completion of the course, you’ll receive a certificate and letter of recommendation.

Nelia is the only UK Consultant and Executive Coach; combining practice and academic research on sustainable change (current Doctoral study at Oxford Brookes University), and the author of a new theoretical Model of sustainable change in leadership coaching (published in the International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring, Special Issue, June 2016). Nelia established and successfully managed her own coaching consultancy business since 2009.
