Main duties and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Agent Partnerships to lead student recruitment from agents to attend our best-in-class academic summer programmes. This important role will be responsible for managing and nurturing our current VIP agent relationships, seeking out and establishing new partnerships in the UK and abroad, and leading a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple agent accounts, setting and achieving ambitious targets, and optimising budgets.

Manage Agent Relationships

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with our VIP agents located globally,
  • ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
  • Strike new major agent relationships in the UK, ensuring compliance with local
  • regulations and best practices

New Partnerships Development

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand our agent network. Negotiate and establish agreements with new partners to drive growth and market presence.

Team Leadership

  • Line manage and mentor two team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team

Budget and Target Setting

  • Develop and manage the budget for the agent partnerships channel, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Set and monitor performance targets for the channel, driving accountability and results

Events and Travel

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnerships and network with potential agents
  • Travel as required to meet with partners and attend relevant industry events

Group Sales

  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive group sales through agent partnerships
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales revenue to groups of students

Revenue Operations Collaboration

  • Work closely with Revenue Operations to streamline processes and improve the overall agent experience
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance agent satisfaction and performance

Person specification

About you

  • You’re a strong leader with exceptional team management skills
  • You demonstrate excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • You’re able to think strategically and demonstrate a results-oriented mindset
  • You’re comfortable working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You have exceptional communication and presentation skills

Essential:

  • Experience of 5+ years experience in managing multiple agent account relationships within the Education sector
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining VIP client relationships as well as driving growth in enrolment numbers
  • Experience in budget management and target-setting

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
