Selection process

Only successful applicants will be contacted and no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a person's gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation. Every candidate will be assessed only in accordance with their merits, qualifications and abilities to perform the duties of the job.

Pre-interview task

You will be asked to prepare a proposed masterclass outline. We ask for this to be sent 48 hrs in advance so that your interviewer can review it and consult an expert if necessary. In our experience this is the best way for candidates to demonstrate their ability to prepare and facilitate an engaging masterclass.

Interview

The majority of interviews will take place online using Google Meet. There is no need to download any software and you will be sent a link to the meeting room in advance. After being introduced to the role, you will be asked about your background in your area of expertise. You will be asked to present part of your proposed masterclass session and answer questions about how you would tailor it to our students. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and find out more throughout.

Role assignment

Students sign up to courses throughout the year, so positions will be filled on a rolling basis. This may mean that we will be unable to confirm dates and times at the interview. If you are made an offer, we will contact you separately to offer specific masterclasses.
