Life at Newnham College
Students stay on-site in the historic Peile building, opened in 1910. As with many older Cambridge buildings, rooms vary in size and shape and include charming original features. All rooms are single occupancy, providing a quiet and comfortable space to rest and study. Bed linen and towels are provided, and in line with college policy, kitchen facilities are not available for student use.
To support an enjoyable residential experience, Newnham offers a welcoming cashless coffee shop, supervised access to sports fields, and some of the largest private gardens in Cambridge — ideal for relaxation and social time. - Students aged 9–14 (Juniors and Scholars) always stay at Harrow School.
- Students aged 13–24 are placed at a venue in Oxford or Cambridge depending on their programme week.
