The Harrow Learning Experience
At Oxford Summer Courses, learning is hands-on, engaging, and built around curiosity. Whether your child joins as a Junior (ages 9–12) or a Scholar (ages 12–14), lessons are led by experienced tutors who inspire confidence and creativity. Students take part in interactive projects, games, discussions, and practical challenges that make learning active, meaningful, and fun.
Our Harrow summer courses cover a wide range of age-appropriate subjects including Science, Maths, Creative Writing, History, Law, Enterprise, Medicine, and Technology. Each course is designed to spark imagination and encourage exploration — helping students connect what they learn in class to the world around them.
The Harrow experience nurtures more than just academic ability. Students build confidence, independence, and curiosity through teamwork and problem-solving. Whether exploring new ideas or tackling creative challenges, every activity is designed to help them grow both intellectually and personally in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Beyond lessons, students enjoy a lively social and cultural programme that helps them make friends, learn new skills, and experience life at one of the UK’s most historic schools. From sports and art workshops to off-site excursions and end-of-course celebrations, every day offers a balance of learning, laughter, and lasting memories.
