Take advantage of digital age development and accelerate your career learning key techniques on our Technology course. We’ll explore machine learning and the latest developments in artificial intelligence and meet top researchers at the Torr Vision Group for expert demonstrations.
The entire course is geared towards practical understanding, so we mix as many interactive sessions in as possible, including attending a talk at the Alan Turing Institute and visiting AI start-ups to watch remarkable theories come to life. To showcase your new skills, the course culminates in creating your own machine learning algorithms, seeing them in action and presenting them to a panel of industry experts.
On our project-based courses, you will work on a group project which is defined by your tutor and based on a complex real-life problem. Each course will have a theme which connects all subjects, to encourage collaboration between groups and peer feedback. In taught sessions, your tutor will equip you with the practical subject knowledge required to address the problem you have been assigned, and you will take ownership of your project during group work facilitated by teaching assistants. To learn from industry experts, you will also visit companies, innovators, and experts to immerse you in the current issues defining your subject area and the overall course theme. Your course will culminate in group presentation to peers, staff and external experts.

"The classes have simply amazed me and the tutor has guided us every step of the way, focusing on our interests, but also developing our critical thinking by encouraging us to support our views and finding arguments to do so."
"I liked how we were given complex problems to solve. This pushed me to learn more and gave me the motivation to want to learn more. "
