Life at Eton College
Students stay in Eton’s traditional boarding houses, with girls in South Lawn and boys in Durnford. All rooms are single occupancy with shared bathrooms, and each house includes a common room for relaxing and socialising. Bed linen is provided (students should bring their own towels), and a weekly laundry service is included. Our dedicated pastoral team provides round-the-clock care and supervision, ensuring a safe and supportive environment at all times.
Outside lessons, students enjoy Eton’s exceptional facilities. These include a swimming pool (used once a week), a large sports hall, outdoor playing fields, a theatre for talks and movie nights, and a marquee for Friday discos. Meals are served in the historic Bekynton dining hall, where students gather to share food, friendship, and fun. - Students aged 13–24 are placed at a venue in Oxford or Cambridge depending on their programme week.
