Founded in 1379, New College is one of Oxford's oldest colleges, home to the first enclosed quadrangle. The current project, the Gradel Quadrangles, is a £75M campus designed with a modern twist on the classic model. The development, named after principal donor Chris Gradel, aims to set new standards for reducing carbon impact. Notably, the Gradel Quadrangles will feature a three-storey student accommodation building with a sustainable glued laminate timber roof, contributing to significant carbon savings.
