What defines a leader? How can principles of leadership be applied to today’s political and economic climate? Our tutors are highly experienced teachers and motivated academics from Oxford University, trained to help you develop your own answers to these key questions. They will guide you to think more deeply about your subject and gain academic maturity before you apply to university.
Learning in a small group (no more than 15 students and often fewer) means that you get quality time with your teacher and ask as many questions as you like! Through interactive learning, our teachers will guide you through new concepts and assign you practice tasks to build your knowledge and skills. You will also have an opportunity for group work, independent research, and homework assignments to be discussed in class. Small classes mean everyone gets to have their say, and students learn from debating with one another, as well as from their tutor.
Cricket, debates and a pub quiz- Could it get more Oxford? But studying at Oxford isn’t just about having your nose in a book beneath the Dreaming Spires. It’s all the culture and Oxfordian lifestyle that goes with it. It’s challenging yourself by learning in new ways, debating until your mouth runs dry and playing cricket ‘til the sun goes down.
Our all-round courses help you make new friends from all over the world, participate in debates in the style of the prestigious Oxford Union and go on an Oxford-themed treasure hunt. We even run a typical British pub quiz and hold football, touch rugby, cricket and rounders tournaments.
