Date of Publication: 21 April 2020

Oxford Summer Courses has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the outstanding international success of our education courses.

We are very pleased to announce that we have won an award for outstanding achievement in the International Trade category of this year’s Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

The title has been awarded for our sustained growth and commercial success in international trade.

Each year, we welcome over 2,500 students onto our courses in Oxford, Cambridge and London, as well as at a number of international locations including India and Stanford (USA). Recently, we have also launched Melio, our new online course programme which offers students who are unable to travel for a residential course the same experience of learning with some of Oxbridge’s most talented academics online.

It’s the students who bring our courses to life and make the work we do so rewarding, and we’re so incredibly proud to deliver an exceptional experience for them – whether that be in-person on one of our courses, or online with our community of expert tutors.

We asked our CEOs what winning the award means for them:

We’re immensely proud to join the impressive roster of past Queen’s Award winners. We dedicate this achievement to our indefatigable team whose passion for education and commitment to quality is the foundation of our success. We will use our newfound status to help take Oxford Summer Courses online, to open up exceptional education to every knowledge-hungry student.”

I am delighted that the quality of the student experiences we offer has been recognised with this award. It’s testament to the hard work of our staff, who spend months planning and preparing the courses, and the seasonal staff and tutors who deliver such exceptional educational experiences for the students.”

Once again, we would like to thank our incredibly hard-working staff, and our students for joining us each year – we would not have won this award without you.
