We hand-select each tutor through a rigorous process that looks beyond academic credentials. While most have studied or taught at leading universities such as Oxford and Cambridge, what truly sets them apart is their ability to inspire curiosity and confidence in every student they teach.

We assess their subject expertise, teaching style, and approach to student engagement — ensuring they can adapt lessons, lead discussions, and create inclusive spaces for learning. Only those who demonstrate a genuine passion for mentoring and motivating young people join our team.

Before each summer, every tutor completes extensive training focused on teaching excellence, safeguarding, and wellbeing. They learn how to balance structure with flexibility — delivering lessons that are both academically rigorous and responsive to student interests.

This preparation is supported by ongoing feedback and guidance throughout the programme. Tutors work closely with our Academic Team and Study Leaders to refine their approach, making sure every student feels supported, safe, and inspired to explore their ideas with confidence.
