This is a unique opportunity to live and learn in one of the UK’s most prestigious boarding schools, set in 170 acres of stunning parkland. There’s plenty of history here. The current building, finished in 1798, is a precious example of British neo-Gothic architecture, and the school has a rich history of academic excellence. But the ethos of the place is firmly modern – with a focus on state-of-the-art facilities and fully rounded educational experiences.
You’ll be staying in dormitories in a boarding house, just like the boarding school students in term time. You’ll have your own space, but also get the chance to make new friendships with other students your age. The boarding houses have common rooms, study rooms and plenty of outside space. Your boarding house will be located at the heart of the school, giving you easy access to the school’s amenities and vast grounds, complete with woodlands and picturesque lake.
All three meals a day are provided for you in the school’s modern canteen. Each meal consists of a range of hot and cold options, desserts and fruit, meaning there is always something for everyone. You’ll also be treated to a formal dinner on Friday nights to celebrate your achievements that week.
