Machines are thinking for themselves…

Are you intrigued by the rapid advance of machine learning? Do you want to understand exactly how algorithms and engineering can solve (and perhaps, create) society’s problems? Studying Robotics takes you to the edge of human knowledge, not just about technology, but about what it is to be human. You’ll be invited to examine the technical processes behind the creation of artificial intelligence systems and mobile robots, while critically examining the ethics of such processes and the dilemmas we are currently facing, or may have to reckon with in the future.

It is researchers at Oxford University who are at the frontier of development in this field, experimenting with how Robotics could transform different areas of our lives, be it space flight or sports and you will have a chance to learn from and debate with those very people.

From age 16 to 24, our Oxford robotics summer courses are designed specifically to fit your level of experience.
