Cambridge: where political history is made
You’d be forgiven for believing that Cambridge was single-handedly responsible for the history of British politics. Name a historic figure – from divisive leaders like Oliver Cromwell and Enoch Powell through to countless British Prime Ministers – and chances are they studied here. World leaders such as long-standing Indian Prime Minister Nehru and the Queen of Denmark also studied right here in the city.
These successful politicians share another thing in common: their ability to think critically. Our politics summer course in Cambridge is designed with this in mind. Politics is a broad subject, so we take a wide approach to learning which enables you to establish and debate your own interests – whether that includes international relations, politics in the digital age, or political history to name but a few.
