- Taught by Oxford or Cambridge academics
- Tutorial style tuition focused on individualised subject discussion
- Specialised 8 week syllabus based on your interests and goals
- Extend your learning and expand understanding of your subject
What to Expect
Throughout your eight-week course, you will receive one hour weekly 1:1 tutorial sessions from a subject specialist who will introduce new concepts to you, broaden your understanding of your subject and discuss your own academic goals and aspirations. You will be assigned short reading lists which will form the basis of your tutorials. In the tutorials you will get the opportunity to discuss the reading and extend your learning through an open discussion of ideas.
In addition to your weekly tuition, you will write two essays. One will be based on your readings, but the second will be your opportunity to conduct your own research in the topic you are most passionate about. These essays will build on knowledge learnt in your weekly tutorials and allow you to apply your own understanding and interests to your course. Your tutor will mark your work during a feedback session regarding how to develop your study skills in your subject further. At the end of the course you will receive a feedback report written by your tutor.
If you would like a taste of university life, are considering applying to top universities, or would like to expand your knowledge, this course is for you.
