What are the new trends in the medical field, and how can knowing more about these trends before university help to give you an academic edge? You can hope to consider ethical questions about the value of a human life and the possibility of human enhancement. The course will provide a solid understanding of the foundations of medical science, and you may even have the opportunity to engage with the latest developments in medicine.
Learning in a small group (no more than 15 students and often fewer), as well as 1:1 or 2:1 tutorials, means that you get quality time with your tutor and the chance to ask all your most pressing questions. Through interactive learning, our tutors will guide you through new concepts and assign you practise tasks to build your knowledge and skills. You will also have an opportunity for group work, independent research, and homework assignments to be discussed in class. Small classes mean everyone gets to have their say, and students learn from debating with one another, as well as from their tutor. You’ll take part in academic workshops that will build your transferable skills are help you prepare for your academic career.
Students take part in 27 hours of learning from their teachers in small groups and 1:1 or 2:1 tutorials, challenging them in thought-provoking, intensive courses. Class sizes are no more than 15 students, giving you personalised attention from a tutor at the top of their field.

The course also offers a non-residential option for local students. At the National University of Singapore accommodation, our pastoral staff and group leaders will be nearby to make sure you’re safe, comfortable and happy. On the first day, our staff provide students with an orientation to help you settle in and work out the basics of student life.
