Cue the opening scenes of your glittering career in Film and TV. This is where it all begins. Study with us and develop your script ideas through a practical group project. We’ll explore script and character development, visit filmmakers for first-hand tips and meet top producers to find out how they cast new talent.
To really hone your skills, we’ll work on location, giving you all the inspiration you need to pitch your final script to industry experts for invaluable feedback.
On our project-based courses, you will work on a group project which is defined by your tutor and based on a complex real-life problem. Each course will have a theme which connects all subjects, to encourage collaboration between groups and peer feedback. In taught sessions, your tutor will equip you with the practical subject knowledge required to address the problem you have been assigned, and you will take ownership of your project during group work facilitated by teaching assistants. To learn from industry experts, you will also visit companies, innovators, and experts to immerse you in the current issues defining your subject area and the overall course theme. Your course will culminate in a group presentation to peers, staff and external experts.
