Enhance your fashion skills in design, buying, photography, PR and marketing, and much more with this exciting mix of practical and taught sessions. Through a unique combination of expert tutors, industry leaders and visits to leading fashion companies you’ll develop an in-depth understanding of the fast-moving and vibrant fashion industry, and build an enviable industry network.
On our project-based courses you’ll work as part of a team to solve a complex real-life problem, guided by an expert tutor. You’ll do this through a carefully structured combination of taught sessions, where your tutor equips you with the practical subject knowledge you need to address the assigned problem. And attend skills enrichment sessions, where you’re taught vital industry skills. You’ll then continue your project through group work. You’ll learn from industry experts, visit innovative companies and immerse yourself in the latest advances in your subject area. Finally you’ll take part in a group presentation to your peers, staff and external experts.
"Because we were such a diverse group of students, even though there was only 7 of us, I got to see every subject from very different perspectives"
"My tutor was very nice and encouraging, she gave me lots of feedback that helped me improve my writing."
"The main reason why I choose oxford summer courses was to make new experiences, both with people and for myself to grow as an individual. Looking back now, the two weeks might be one of the most memorable and I am greatly thankful and satisfied."
