Economics affects us all. In business and in life. As you explore the world around you, and look towards your future career, you’ll understand its implications even more. Our Economics course is designed to help you dissect the most important issues from macroeconomics (international level) and how businesses succeed and fail within a domestic economy (microeconomics). We may also look at measuring economic performance, markets and competition for all-round, immersive learning.
Your expert tutor will foster critical thinking through interactive seminars in small groups (no bigger than 15). During your course, you will work with like- minded peers on a case- study which you present at the end of the course to your group. On completion of the course, you’ll receive a certificate and letter of recommendation.
Students take part in 27 hours of learning from their teachers in small groups and 1:1 or 2:1 tutorials, challenging them in thought-provoking, intensive courses. Class sizes are no more than 15 students, giving you personalised attention from a tutor at the top of their field.
You’ll also get the chance to learn first-hand from industry experts during our TED-style talks and academic workshops. You’ll leave the course feeling inspired, with a greater understanding of what it will take to succeed.

Hawker markets are the best place to experience down-to-earth culinary dishes from the best stalls in Singapore. Singapore has over 114 hawker centres within its limits with hundreds of food stalls - providing locals and tourists alike with best dishes from the region.
Students will experience a half-day academic excursion to explore topics taught in the classroom in a real-world, hands-on environment.

The university has been ranked the top university in Asia Pacific by two international ranking systems, and hosts over 35,000 students during term time.
Summer course students have the opportunity to stay at the National University of Singapore student housing for the duration of their course for their convenience. The course also offers a non-residential option for local students. The National University of Singapore is located in East Singapore, known for its top academic institutions, commercial sector, and restaurants
At the National University of Singapore accommodation, our pastoral staff and group leaders will be nearby to make sure you’re safe, comfortable and happy. On the first day, our staff provide students with an orientation to help you settle in and work out the basics of student life.
