This is a an opportunity to study, stay and make lifelong friends at one of the UK’s most distinguished independent boarding schools. The site is set in the royal spa town of Cheltenham, on the edge of the Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Founded in 1853, Cheltenham Ladies College provides the perfect environment for summer learning, including stunning, ivy-covered grounds, modern accommodation, a library for private study time, and a swimming pool in the new sports centre.

Students stay in boarding rooms used by students during the term time. While they have their own space, the layout of the boarding house allows them to make friends with all the other students on their corridor. The boarding houses have a large common room, with plenty of space to socialise and relax. The house is a short walk away from the main school site and, students will always be supervised walking to and from lessons and activities in the main house.

All daily meals will be eaten in the boarding house. This traditional in-house dining fosters a familial environment, giving students a chance to mix with classmates, people from their boarding house, and new friends. On Friday nights, students will be treated to a graduation meal and certificate ceremony to celebrate their achievements.

Cheltenham Ladies College is an outstanding boarding facility which encourages a safe and modern environment for summer learning. Part of our commitment to safety is hiring an experienced team of staff who live on-site, and are available to students, 24/7. We maintain a staff to student ratio of 1:5, so all students are looked over and feel cared for, from the moment they arrive.

Cheltenham Ladies College is one of the many reasons to consider a juniors course with Oxford Summer Courses. Explore our range of 9-12 courses below, and find the perfect course for your child.
