Challenge the way you see and think

Art is more than a catalyst for change or a medium to challenge us – it is a lens through which we can understand history and society at large. Our Oxford-based course combines the best bits of history, philosophy and geography. It gives you an opportunity to discover more about what areas of art you enjoy and a chance to discuss the impact has art had on societies and cultures.

Oxford has been at the heart of British and international thinking for hundreds of years. You can see this history, alongside objects from hundreds of different times and places in the wonderful museums: The Ashmolean Museum, The Natural History Museum and the Pitt Rivers Museum. Whether its the development of how we understand the world, or the construction of a globalised identity, this varied course will have something to challenge you and change the way you see the world.

Our Arts and Humanities summer courses in Oxford are designed specifically to fit your level of experience.
