Project Based Learning
13-15 year olds
Take advantage of digital age development and accelerate your career learning key techniques on our AI & Software Development course. We’ll explore the latest developments in technology and meet experts in the field.
The entire course is geared towards practical understanding of real-life problems, so we mix as many interactive sessions in as possible, including coding time and visiting artificial intelligence start-ups to watch remarkable theories come to life. To showcase your new skills, the course culminates in creating your own solutions, seeing them in action and presenting them to a panel of industry experts.
On our project-based courses, you will work on a group project which is defined by your tutor and based on a complex real-life problem. Each course will have a theme which connects all subjects, to encourage collaboration between groups and peer feedback. In taught sessions, your tutor will equip you with the practical subject knowledge required to address the problem you have been assigned, and you will take ownership of your project during group work facilitated by teaching assistants. To learn from industry experts, you will also visit companies, innovators, and experts to immerse you in the current issues defining your subject area and the overall course theme. Your course will culminate in a group presentation to peers, staff and external experts.
